Brandt decided to stay put

Brandt has been heavily linked with both Bayern Munich and Liverpool lately, but the 21-year-old would prefer to stay at Leverkusen in order to receive his much needed first-team football.

Bayern Munich are already looking into the future and are considering long-term replacements for Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery, who are both approaching the en上海夜生活d of their careers. Although Leverkusen are underachieving this season, being 12th in the Bundesliga, the German is thinking of remaining at BayArena for next season as well.

“If you make a move, there’s no guarantee that you play. I think it is very important for me to play many matches next season and that’s what I can do in Leverkusen”, said Brandt in an interview.

Julian Brandt has scored three goals and registered eight assists in Bundesliga this season. He has played 38 games for Bayer Leverkusen in Bundesliga and Champions League.
